Planning a wedding can bring plenty of questions. We have answered some of the things couples may wish to know before choosing Bertie for their special day.
How many passengers can Bertie carry?
Bertie can carry up to 4 passengers, in addition to the chauffeur, two passengers in the rear and two in the front with the chauffeur. Passenger numbers may depend on the seating arrangements and any requirements for children or car seats.
Bertie is based in Lancashire and is available for weddings across the North West and beyond. Travel included within each journey is explained on our Explore Your Journey page, and weddings further afield are warmly welcomed.
Where is Bertie based?
When does the booking time begin?
Your booking time begins when Bertie arrives at the first agreed collection address. The booked time includes the journey, any agreed additional pickups, waiting time and opportunities for photographs.
The Signature Journey includes one pre-ceremony collection. The Celebration Journey includes one additional pre-ceremony collection. The Timeless Journey is fully bespoke and can include multiple pickups, subject to the agreed timings and itinerary.
Can Bertie make more than one pickup?
Can we choose the ribbon colour?
Yes, of course! Your choice of ribbon colour is included in all of our Journeys, allowing Bertie to compliment your wedding colours and styling.
Yes. Non-alcoholic fizz can be provided on request, and we are happy to discuss any preferences before your wedding day.
Is non-alcoholic fizz available?
Absolutely! Time for photographs is an important part of the Bertie experience and is included within your booking time. We will work with you and your photographer to make the most of the occasion without making your day feel rushed.
Can we take photos?
What happens if it rains?
A little rain will not stop Bertie from being part of your day. We will prepare him carefully, keep a close eye on the weather and do everything reasonably possible to keep your journey comfortable and your photographs special.
Is food, smoking or vaping allowed inside Bertie?
To protect Bertie's bespoke interior, smoking, vaping and food are not permitted inside the vehicle. Drinks provided as part of your journey may be enjoyed carefully while Bertie is stationary.
How do we secure our date?
Your date is secured once the booking form has been completed, the booking Terms & Conditions accepted and the required booking payment received. Until then, the date cannot be guaranteed.
